Song For A Friend in short film!

Pieta's song "SONG FOR A FRIEND"  (from Remember The Sun/2007) has been used by film director Sasha Levinson in a beautiful Americana short called ONE DAY IN AMERICA.  About the film, which Sasha Levinson filmed on a day off in Cross Plains, TN she writes: "I took out a camera and shot a little film about this town, with the intent of creating something for my directors reel. A personal project. The town's chamber of commerce recently learned of the piece and asked if they could use it on their town website. This piece is a love letter to the town."

The UK version of Pieta's album, Remember The Sun, is now available for the first time in the US...and you can purchase it directly from Pieta via the website! The UK version of Remember The Sun includes the original intended tracking order (including the track "It's Just As Well", not included on US version) and original cover colors .  A favorite of critics and fans alike, Remember The Sun includes Pieta's songs, "Are You Free?", "West Monroe", "Song For A Friend", "In My Mind I Was Talkin' To Loretta", and of course the song "Remember The Sun", which has just been recorded by Pieta's father, folk-icon Greg Brown (to be released this Spring!)
